ISO 9001:2015 is the only Quality Management System in which organizations can acquire a certification. As one of the highest certification systems achieved by the EPI Group, the ISO 9001:2015 is an assurance to all the clients that every product and service is at par with the statutory and regulatory requirement of the industry. With effectual implementation of the operational systems, the ISO 9001:2015 can improve the manufacturing and delivery process of the products. ISO 22000:2005 is a global certification given to companies with excellent food-safety management systems. EPI Group has successfully adhered to the statutory food and regulatory and safety requirements of the country by following protective packaging principles. Since EPI Group caters to various industries such as the Food and Beverage (F&B) businesses, the ISO 22000:2005 is applicable for organizations that are part of this industry. Through this certification, EPI Group has implemented food security policies and procedures that assure each product is safe for human consumption. Our group has satisfactorily demonstrated the ability to control food safety hazards by applying adequate Quality Assurance Measures that ensures the well-being of our clients.

HACCP, also known as Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points, is an internationally recognized method granted to the top-most companies worldwide. It is way of understanding and managing the food-safety-risk related to different sources of products through their seven (7) step recognition system. With the HACCP, a centrally active food safety program is created for the manufacturers, vendors and suppliers. From the procurement of the raw materials to manufacturing, distribution and consumption of the finished product, every aspect is critically evaluated and audited. By developing an ingredient specification and vendor assurance system, EPI Group proudly utilizes the HACCP system as a foundation for their food safety management program.

Quality Control Measures (QCM)

With a strong value for the safety of human life, preservation of environment and quality of plastic products, EPI Group has created Quality Control Measures is planned to avert any shortcomings in the provision of services to our clients. Our Quality Assurance Program outlines the control procedures and ensures its adherence in all departments. Being backed with advanced technology and industrial expertise, our group has maintained extensive links with testing laboratories and research institutes to warranty the safety and quality of our merchandize. EPI Group persistently invests time in the research and development (R&D) processes to explore new products that are in line with the global market trends and are secure for consumption by our consumers.
With a team of specialists from our Quality Control Department (QCD), EPI Group undertakes the responsibility of product life-cycle management which provides the clients with timely delivery, exceptional service and world-class items. For our activities to be aligned in accordance to the legal fundamentals, our group has undertaken the designing, execution and maintenance of the plastic products and has protected its form and structure from any diminishing factors. To guarantee the quality and safety of our products, our group conducts intensive evaluation of our suppliers, provides detailed inspection of raw materials, monitors production processes, and verifies the Quality Control System which includes:

  • Printed Wad safeguards the authenticity of the products.
  • Automatic Wadding provides 100% guarantee of no spillage, thus preventing any leakage from the mouth of the container to the consumer.
  • Printed Cap enhances the outer appearance of the package while preserving the originality of the product.
  • Leak Detector ensures through drop tests that each can or container has no leakage which is installed in every machine.
  • Computerized Control assures uniformity, conciliatory and crack-free filling especially on highly sensitive lines and controls the weight, color, distribution and dimensions of the product.
  • Computerized UV Printing utilizes a thicker ink deposit rendering the image to be sharper, glossier and scratch-proof.
  • Monthly Service of Moulds creates a perfectly smooth appearance and an excellent outer body which is free of any dents or watermarks.
  • Virgin High Molecular Raw Material certifies that the container is heat, sun or damage resistant which is 100% authentic and can be used in food and /or milk grade.
  • De-flashing adds a protective layer to prevent leakage and remove sharp edges.
  • Embossed Body or Cap authenticates that the product is genuine and assures that no imitations are available.
